Operator · Co-Developer · Editor · Host
Isaac Mashman is the visionary and the face of Mashman Consulting Group. Eric Chow works behind the scenes, and in the room for the firm’s executive appearances.
A podcast with listeners in 96 countries, a methodology developed with Isaac Mashman, and the editing and foreword of the Second Edition of the Manifesto.
A founder carries the vision in public. The operator carries it out. Since 2019, Isaac Mashman and Eric Chow have divided the work that way.
They met through a tweet during a podcast tour in August 2019, when Eric, a new podcaster, invited Isaac onto his show. Years later, in Eric’s words, they “found ourselves working together, consulting clients and developing our philosophy and tools on personal branding.”
That philosophy became Identity Positioning™, the proprietary methodology of Mashman Consulting Group, which Eric helped develop. When Isaac wrote the Second Edition of the Manifesto, he asked Eric to edit it, and Eric wrote its foreword.

Appearances
Interviews with people who have overcome difficult life challenges, and monologues on decisions, confidence, and self-image. 68 episodes, with listeners in 96 countries, and the conversation that started the partnership: episode 5, with Isaac Mashman.
Isaac pulls the trigger; Eric checks the gates first. In episode 66 of his podcast, How to Make Decisions, he set out the method he used to bring the show back, in his own words.
“Do you know what you need to know? Or can you definitely acquire what you need to know to make that decision?”
“You want to get input so that you can help get an idea as to what the reality of the situation is, but you do not want to overvalue the input that you are getting.”
“Make a definite decision.”
Then weigh the alternatives, and focus on the outcome: what you get from it, as a business and as a person.
In a world where anybody can have a platform and information is abundant, what separates us is our “personal brand.”
